Promotional images of Jenny Seagrove for The Sign of Four

Jenny Seagrove, looking lovely as ever, portrayed Miss Mary Morstan in a 1987 UK television adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Sign of Four. Jeremy Brett plays Sherlock Holmes and Edward Hardwicke plays Dr. Watson, both to great effect. The fantastic Ronald Lacey is also featured, as well as British television veteran John Thaw.

The following are a pair of publicity stills for The Sign of Four:

Jenny Seagrove - pin-up girl?

This is a somewhat uncharacteristic photo of Jenny Seagrove. It looks a bit like a pin-up style image, hands above the hips and decked out in very fashionable late-'80s clothing. Very nice indeed!

Jenny Seagrove and Hayley Mills onstage

Here's a photo of Jenny Seagrove and Hayley Mills performing onstage in a play (I'm unsure of the title). You might recall that the pair also appeared in the 1988 mystery film Appointment with Death.

Jenny Seagrove in Don't Go Breaking My Heart

In 1999, Jenny Seagrove co-starred with American actor Anthony Edwards in the romantic comedy Don't Go Breaking My Heart. Jenny Seagrove had not appeared on television or film since 1992, so this movie can be considered a comeback of sorts for her. Don't Go Breaking My Heart represents the beginning of the second era of Jenny Seagrove's screen career and she would go on to find success on TV in the 2000s.

The images on this page are taken from the trailer for Don't Go Breaking My Heart. All of the pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them. Enjoy!
